Video Errata: I absent mindedly said “Rubbermaid” rather than “Kitchenaid” in reference to the Kitchenaid 2-burner gas grill that I had purchased prior to this one. Sorry.
I purchased this from Home Depot, assembled, for $399. I had recently purchased and then returned a KitchenAid 2-burner gas grill for $299. It was no comparison to the Weber. It had less BTU’s and wire grates rather than the heavier cast iron grates that the Weber has. This grill is outstanding. Great build quality.

Loved the jokes, great review!
Thank you! I truly enjoyed your review.
Nice review. I keep seeing, in other reviews, where commenters say the cast iron grates should be flat side up for more surface area touching the meat. What is your preference?
how come your LP tank is floating? mine sits on the gound
I was looking at the Kitchen Aid myself and while it ranked well on reviews – there were a number of comments about parts rusting, access to the propane tank, and the fact that the side tables have no hook mechanism I could envision dropping/denting them at some time in the future. As well, some had problems with it heating up to the desired temperature – which is why I started looking at the Weber Spirit or Genesis. Thanks for your review.
