Searing Steak on Chimney of Insanity

One of the great features of the Chimney of Insanity is that it can be
used as a forced-air cooking stove to sear steaks at ultra-high
temperatures.

He’s talking about searing a steak, not cooking it. This is great if you cook the steak Sous vide, to give it a nice bark on the outside. Personally, I use a torch, or my infrared grill, but this looks like a great alternative.

“You can sear a steak in less than a minute…”

My heart is hurting…

Brad W says:

I’m guessing this is a joke

John C. says:

should’ve included the slicing and eating of the steak

Rob B says:

Chimney starter is great way to grill a steak, been doing it for years, but you do not need forced air, just chimney starter, coals, steak and 2 to 3 min on each side. Depends on how thick the steak is determines how much coal, 3/4th chimney full should do the trick for most steaks
