The most attractive advantage of using the kandouko for me is that you can cook foods on the kandouko. You can place a grill on the brazier and cook some snacks on the grill. In this video, I simply place a mussel can on the grill to heat the mussels.
The kandouko is an antique sake warmer, which uses charcoal heat to warm up sake. In structure, the kandouko is a water tank with a built-in brazier.
The following describes how to use the kandouko to warm up sake:
1. First, fill the water tank with some water, and place burning charcoal in the brazier.
2. Wait for a while until the heat from the burning charcoal makes the water hot.
3. When the water becomes hot, place a sake flask filled with sake in the hot water.
4. The hot water heats up your sake. When the sake becomes as hot as you like, take out the flask, pour the sake into a sake cup, and enjoy hot sips of the sake. Kampai!
